Porn Star Mowett is a lithesome ebony enchantress whose only appeared in a handful of hardcore features so far, but fans of tight bodied black go-getters will surely demand that she stay in the business. Her name's a phonetic re-spelling of Moet, but this Mowett doesn't require alcohol to get her fires raging. She's a sweet looking young thing whose glasses give her the appearance of a nerdy librarian. In actuality, Mowett's that most familiar of hardcore breeds -- the stripper turned porno starlet.

Mowett was born in 1980 in Los Angeles, where she's lived ever since. Despite her seemingly placid facade, Mowett's a dyed-in-the-wool exhibitionist. She landed her first job stripping soon after turning eighteen, and didn't waste much time moving into hardcore. While it's unknown what seedy bars she was baring it all in, there's not much doubt that for Mowett, porno was a definite step up.

She first hit porno screens in 1999, writhing and moaning her way through a string of low-budget black-themed sexvids. She shined in "Inner City Black Cheerleader Search 33," reveling in the attention of both her partner and the camera. Mowett's also great in "Da Juice 3" and "Black Cherry Coeds 14," each time showing a new facet of her sexual persona.

Mowett's best scene ever, though, is still her first. In "Sugar Walls 18," she takes on Flex Lugar in a frantic, feverish tussle during which she somehow manages to keep her trademark glasses on at all times. Mowett's infectious good humor and willingness to do whatever it takes to keep a scene building makes her one of the real unsung heroines of late 90s black porn. Here's hoping she sticks with it long enough to make a bigger name for herself, because her hard work definitely deserves it.
