Playboy Playmate Kim McArthur is a stunningly pretty redhead whose pictorial in the magazine led to a lengthy career as a model and b-movie actress. Kim was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 16, 1962, and grew up far from the bright lights of the entertainment scene. She always dreamed of making it in Hollywood, though, and upon graduating from high school she packed up and moved to Southern California.
After a couple of years as a struggling actress, Kim decided to see what Playboy could do for her. Packing some awe-inspiring 37-22-34 curves onto her petite 5'3" frame, Kim was an instant hit with the magazine's editors and she became Miss January 1982. Just as she had hoped, her pictorial jump-started her fledgling career.
Kim spent the rest of the eighties appearing in small parts in lots of movies, including the screwball comedy 'Young Doctors in Love' in 1982, and the Rodney Dangerfield vehicle 'Easy Money' in 1983. Other highlights of her film career included 'Malibu Express,' 'Slumber Party Massacre II' and the TV movie 'Elvis and Me.'
Kim's television career included parts in 'Magnum, P.I.' and 'Highway to Heaven.' Her biggest acting break came when she was cast as Kelly Capwell in the soap opera 'Santa Barbara' in 1988. She left the role a year later.
Since the late 80s, Kim has drifted away from the entertainment scene. Her modeling career continued into the early 90s, but she has since moved out of that field as well. Whatever Kim is up to these days, she's a good bet to be the best looking woman doing it.
