Playboy Playmate Kelly Monaco is a delectable brunette beauty whose athletic good looks got her noticed, but whose acting skills have kept her busy since. Kelly was born on May 26, 1976 in Philadelphia, one of five sisters in a tightly-knit Italian-American family. As a child, Kelly was extremely active, participating in all kinds of sports including soccer, swimming, track and softball.
She moved with her family from Philly to the Poconos while still a child. Once in high school, Kelly's interest expanded and she became involved in speech and debate as well as sports. She became interested in a career in acting and moved out to Los Angeles soon after graduating from high school.
Kelly decided to see if appearing in Playboy couldn't give her career a boost, so she submitted her pics. Her stunning 34D-21-31 curves were impossible to deny, and she was named Miss April 1997. Her pictorial did, indeed, kick her career into high gear. She landed a recurring role on 'Baywatch' in 1997 as rookie lifeguard Susan. In 1999, Kelly got her big break, winning the part of Livvie Locke on the ABC soap 'Port Charles.' By 2002, Kelly was popular enough to be spun off into a duel role, also playing Tess Ramsey on the show.
Kelly's also appeared in a handful of big screen flicks, including 'Idle Hands,' 'Mumford' and a brief glimpse as a pole-dancing cheerleader in 'BASEketball.' She continues to appear on 'Port Charles' and has become one of the most popular young women in daytime TV. It couldn't happen to a more stunning siren.
