Playboy Playmate Julie Clarke is a tanned and toned stunner whose appearance in the magazine was a bit of a lark. She never really dreamed of becoming a model, but simply fell into it as a fun way to pass the time. The fact that she would actually became a Playmate never occurred to her until they offered her the gig. Julie was born in Tucson, Arizona on August 11, 1971. She moved to Georgia at an early age, living not far from St. Simon's Island. As a child, Julie's love of horses led her to a stint as a competitive show jumper, and she participated in competitions throughout the South. By her teens, she had grown out of it, and when her parents divorced in 1987, she moved with her mother to Naples, Florida. In high school, Julie was on the diving team, where the vision of her in a swimsuit must have been the highlight of most meets for her male teammates. In fact, once she turned eighteen, a friend suggested that Julie enter a local swimsuit pageant. To her surprise, Julie won and went on to become the second runner-up in the national Venus Swimwear Model Search. While in the Model Search, Julie was noticed by a Playboy scout. She was offered a chance to pose for the magazine, and her delectable 34-22-32 curves soon landed her the gig as Miss March 1991. Over the next several years, Julie appeared at lots of Playboy events and promotions, traveling all over the country representing the magazine. She tried her hand at acting, but never quite found the right vehicle. After a few years of being a Playboy Playmate, Julie decided to leave modeling behind and return to Florida. She currently lives in Ft. Myers, Florida, where she works full time at a law firm while attending classes at the local community college. She plans to attend pharmacy school after graduating from the JC, in which case she would definitely be the sexiest pharmacist Florida has ever seen! We wish Julie nothing but the best in her new career, but if she ever decided to return to modeling, there would be plenty of folks to welcome her back.
