Playboy Playmate Elke Jeinsen is a full-bodied beauty who has enjoyed a lengthy and successful modeling career. Elke was born to German parents on July 25, 1966, in Stockholm, Sweden, but moved with her family to Hanover, Germany while still a young child. Elke blossomed into a leggy vision of femininity, packing some luscious 34B-24-34 curves onto her breathtaking 5'8" frame.
Elke first started letting her good looks work for her when she entered the Miss Hanover contest in 1986. Needless to say, she won the competition, and soon the German edition of Playboy came calling. She became that mag's Miss October 1986, and parlayed her centerfold into a quite successful modeling career in Europe.
Elke traveled all over the continent doing modeling shoots. In 1991, she was offered a spot on the popular Italian variety show 'Colpo Grosso.' Elke accepted and spent the next year living and working in Milan. When a German TV network started up their own version of the show called 'Tutti Frutti,' they offered Elke the chance to reprise her role in her native land. She agreed and moved back to Germany for the gig.
Elke continued doing lots of modeling shoots, though. It was while doing a gig in Las Vegas in late 1992 that she decided to try her luck at making the pages of American Playboy. Elke drove to L.A. on her day off and walked into the magazine's offices. Of course, the folks there were taken with her blonde good looks and Elke became Miss May 1993, the first European Playmate to make the jump across the pond.
Elke spent the next two years flying between Europe and the States for modeling shoots. She finally decided to make a permanent move to Los Angeles, where she landed a small recurring role on 'Baywatch.' She continues to act and model, and has recently become a black belt in karate in her spare time. Elke Jeinsen is one of the most popular European Playmates ever, and one look at her luscious figure is more than enough to tell you why.
