A thin and rangy redhead with an all-natural figure that's sheer perfection, Playboy Playmate Charlotte Kemp is a vision of vivacious sensual allure. Charlotte's a Midwestern gal at heart, having been born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 27, 1961. Charlotte grew up in the Midwest, far away from the bright lights of the entertainment world. She always had her sights set on stardom, though, and Charlotte pursued her dream throughout the 80s.
Charlotte Kemp spent her childhood as an athlete. She was a highly accomplished competitive swimmer, becoming a two-time defending AAU State Champion in Iowa, as well as a member of the Junior Olympic Team. Her aquatic dreams were derailed, though, when she broke both her knees at the age of fifteen. This put an end to her swimming days, so Charlotte turned to tennis as her sporting outlet through high school and college.
Charlotte was attending Indiana University, studying biology and psychology, when she was approached by representatives of Playboy offering her a chance to do a pictorial. Having dabbled in modeling already while at Indiana, Charlotte gave the offer much thought, until finally deciding to take the plunge and just do it.
Charlotte Kemp made her splashy debut in Playboy's pages in 1982, when she became Miss December for that year. Her lean, lithesome good looks were impossible to overlook -- even if you for some reason wanted to -- and Charlotte dropped out of school to pursue modeling. She moved to Europe, where she spent several years traveling about as a fashion model. Charlotte returned to the States, setting up shop in New York City, where she landed parts in a handful of low-budget local productions like 'Posed For Murder' and the cult classic 'Frankenhooker.'
Charlotte moved to Southern California to pursue her dream of acting stardom, but big roles never really materialized. She ended up forming CHK Productions, her own company devoted to putting on corporate events. Charlotte also founded the Playboy Running Team, rustling up a few of her fellow centerfolds to run marathons and 10Ks for charity. Today, Charlotte splits her time between her charity work, her sports, and her family.
