| It seems Studio City California streets were shut down to film a major Japanese commercial for a bra/lingerie company.
And guess who was the star in the commercial waltzing down Ventura Boulevard attached to a gigantic
brassiere, none other than Talking Blue TV show favorite, MissKiki Daire!
Not even Jenna Jameson can say she was in a national commercial like that. Congratulations Kiki!!!
Also... It seems Internet porn gossiper (and no it wasn't me) has decided to call it quits, and take the money and run to the hills.
Porn monger and last disciple of Christ, Luke Ford, has written his last rants on the adult industry. And just in time I might add, because no sooner has he packed his bags, AVN's gossip site, Inside Adult, decided to close it's doors.
Kind of ironic, since the Inside Adult was created in the first place by AVN to counter talk anything Ford said on his
site, because of all the embarrassment Luke was doing to AVN Magazine and the "Big Three" players in the industry, (Vivid, VCA & Wicked Pictures).
Even Gene Ross, disgusted with AVN's politics, left earlier to greener pastures at Extreme Associates to continue doing his Internet posts for that company.
To really nail the coffin on Ford, AVN's assistant editor, Mark Kernes went into a tirade on Ford in the latest issue of AVN, a full month after Ford's departure.
Talk about sour grapes.
The only major Internet news site left is right here at Talking Blue.
So if anyone wants to ante up some moola, I'm sure we can be turned into quivering, sniveling capitalist.
You hear that big wigs. Otherwise you have no one to blame if we shoot our months off.
...As I finish this season's news and start on the fall 2001 edition, I am shaken abruptly by the madness in New York we have all witnessed. I am stunned yet not surprised. It was a long time coming, but I never believed it would be this magnitude. I could say our hearts got out to the "casualties" since the press refers to them as that and not victims since they are casualties of war. We are at war. A war we may never win. We are going to see trying times ahead, more so than most will ever imagine. The only thing I can say is, Respect Each Other.
Such a simple thing, but no one wants to do it. Everyone loves to shit on each other. I do it, you do it, it's no secret. Everyone wants to be better or one up on the other person. But lets make a true effort to just treat each other as equals for once. When you don't look down on your fellow man and look directly in each other eyes, one learns more about oneself and can relate those feelings on a more personal level. We all have the same problems; money, family, relationships, beliefs. We may be from different countries, yet our feelings are still identical.
Until next time, I'm hanging up my raincoat.
