| Happy March dear readers, I trust you all spent Valentine's Day with the one you loved, or least a picture of them a bottle of lube. As the ice begins to thaw, things have been heating up a bit here in Smutville, so let's get started shall we?
Recently I had the pleasure of doing a follow up interview with the artist formerly known as Cherry. After her vicious break up with Extreme Associates and the nasty exchange in AVN, I had expected fireworks. Instead, Stryc Nine, as she is known now, was gracious, funny and had nothing bad to say about her former employers. "That's over now, it's behind me." She said.
Stryc Nine has been working for Legend, Metro and even had a call with Vivid recently. Her fan club and web site are close to being open. We also talked about her recent scene with the infamous Max Hardcore. "It was great, super nasty." We can't wait SN.
Speaking of Max, his recent release, Max Extreme 4 has proved to be quite an adventure. During the first scene, while Max is fucking her ass, Regan Starr says "Don't tell anyone Max, 'cuz I'm only twelve and a half years old."
Legal problems aside, that sort of pedophile bullshit just doesn't sit well with me and I said so in my review. (Though this was not the only reason this movie was rated so low.) Apparently, this sort of honest review does not sit well with the PR machine at Max Hardcore Productions. In a highly critical letter, I was called "juvenile" and "bias".
Funny, my bias (Which is commonly called being critical.) didn't seem to bother them when I praise their master, only when I dare to honestly tell him that in addition to being a crime, having women pretend to be little girls is just fucking bad whacking material. Maybe Max should put a tighter leash on the people who are out there speaking for him. Then again, perhaps I should just file this one in the Freedom of Speech is what they say it is, file.
Did anyone else notice the February cover of AVN magazine? Under the heading "Ones to Watch in 99" they pictured the women porn fans should keep an eye out for in the upcoming year. Interesting to note that neither their Best New Starlet, Alisha Klass, nor Performer of the Year Chloe was pictured. Also missing was Wicked Girl Serenity.
I found her absence a little strange, since I so often hear her name mentioned along with Vivid Girls as being "AVN Girls." I did a little checking and found a rather shocking fact. In her six years in the business, not only has Serenity never been awarded Performer of the Year, she has never even appeared on the cover of that magazine. Hey guys, what gives?
A quick look at TV programs will tell you that it must be sweeps month. The tabloid shows have run their usual allotment of porn stories, hoping to titillate an audience dying to hear the latest dirt. Two stories of note featured net porn news hound turned author Luke Ford, and Savannah. The latter was a touching story, featuring interviews with friends and family of the deceased porn starlet.
Oddly enough, they seemed to leave out the part her heroin addiction might have caused in her departure. Why bother with facts when you a good scapegoat to blame everything on?
Samantha Stylle is no longer exclusively part of the Tushy Girl team. Though details are not known at this time, the blonde is said to be considering some free lance roles and may be working on some projects of her own.
The split is said to have been amicable, with Seymore still wanting to use Sammy in some movies, just not keeping her under exclusive contract. No matter what Sammy has in mind, I'm sure she will do well. More on this story next month after I talk more to Samantha and get the story from Seymore.
The much anticipated Pamela Anderson/Bret Michaels home video still has not actually been released. Though the web site www.pamporn.com has been taking orders for a few months, no tapes have yet arrived. A number of notices have been received by customers, indicating that their tapes were shipped, yet to date, none have arrived.
A great big scam? We'll have to give it a little more time to know for sure. (That's why it is so important to buy from reputable companies such as Excalibur Films!)
On the good news front, Dave Cummings announced the comeback of Laurel Canyon.
The blonde porn legend, now thirty four years old, shot her first couple of comeback scenes for Dave, who says she looks fantastic and is better than ever. With so many blonde pornstars giving us comeback rumors, it's nice to see one of the very best back in the game.
LAST MINUTE ADDITION- I just got off the phone with Laurel and we are doing a sit down interview this weekend. She told me she was glad to be back, is looking for roles that let her express full sexuality and gave us this philosophy, "More sex, less crime." Amen Laurel, let's hope you feel that way Saturday.
Just two months after letting Stryc-9 go, Extreme Associates has trimmed the roster a bit more. Two of the original Elegant defectors Tiffany Mynx and Van from Extreme have reportedly been let go. I haven't been able to get any official announcement from the company, but word is the split has been a long time coming. No word on where Van might end up, but Tiffany's name has popped as the hot name at the top of everyone's want list.
I hear Vivid and Metro are the most interested in her, however an interesting bird whispered the initials EA into my ear. Now wouldn't that be ironic?
The much publicized Houston 500 took place this past month. The third in the series of monster gang bangs. If it's as exciting as the first two, you should be able to find it on your video store shelves any time you like. We can only hope this will be Houston's swan song. Might as well go out on top, right?
OK, here is your chance to strike back at your favorite smart ass critic. Sin City has released 'Wanderlust" directed by JJ Michaels and penned by yours truly. Don't worry, the cast is packed with Eruo-hotties, including the awesome Nikki Andersson.
