Thankfully, this month, I don't have to lead off with any more reports of positive HIV tests. To date, Tricia Devereaux's seems to be an isolated case. Of course, that doesn't mean the danger is any less and a number of stars have made changes in their work habits to reflect their growing concern of personal health.
A number of stars have gone on record supporting all condom productions, including Juli Ashton (In my interview with her last month.) However, Shane seems to be leading the way in the department. Starting with her next video, Shane will only be producing tapes where all males use condoms.
Topping the list of interesting stories this month, is the private video tape of 'ladies only' Vivid girl, Janine and rocker Vince Neil. Because of the obvious connections, the tape gets compared to Pam Lee's home sex tape, and I have to say, the sex in Janine's romp blows away Pam's. Janine's reaction to the tape has been rather mild.
While she says it was never meant for public viewing, she has no plans to stop the release the tape. However, those of us who enjoyed her new on screen heterosexuality will be disappointed to hear that she still has "no plans" to do guys on film.
On the fun side of things, super cute blonde Shayla LaVeaux just finished shooting 'Starbangers 11' for Matt Zane. It is the second gang bang video for Shayla, but this is the first time she did multiple DP's (4 of them) and facials (7 of them.) The tape is due to hit store shelves on May 15th.
Another superstar has signed on for a gang bang from Zane as well. Naughty Nici Sterling will star in 'Nici, Nici Gang Bang' later this month. In the video, she will attempt to answer the age old question of who fucks better, white men or black men. A lucky group of each will get to bang Nici and she will tell the world who really fucks better.
The big Elegant Angel breakup seems to be getting worse. After losing Byron, Black, Van Damage and Mynx, Patrick Collins' company has now reportedly lost Jane Waters and Marc Wallice to the new Extreme Productions as well. The first release from Extreme Productions, Whack Attack, is due to hit store shelves soon. Think anyone will send Patrick a copy?
With Johnny Toxic as the biggest name to fill the void, it might be a while before Elegant Angel regains it's momentum. Of course, the list of people rumored to be heading to ElA but didn't is far more interesting. Rodney Moore, Greg Steele and David Stanley all were rumored to be joining the team, but have not. Now, that would have been a line up.
Another one time Elegant Angel director, Mike South has found a new home for his southern style smut. Fallen Angel will now be home to Mike and his very special contract girls. With all the time he spends on line, chatting with us regular folk, it's a wonder Mike has time to be a big porn star/director at all.
Hey, great news. Last month I reported that Brooke Ashley was calling it quits, but I was happily mistaken. Brooke is still making movies which means we can all enjoy more great performances from this pint sized porn queen.
Greg Steele is hard at work on the biggest adult film of all time.
The epic film, "Tribal" is set to go into production sometime this spring. It is based on Hernan Cortez and the Spanish conquest of Mexico and will be shot in three countries. A number of big stars are rumored to be auditioning for the lead roles and will actually be asked to act a bit since the script is well over one hundred pages in length. More on this as it unfolds.
Rodney Moore is working on two new series. First, for fans of wet oral sex, will be called a series called "Drool Job Planet." The second, "Working Girls" will focus on women in real work situations. What, no pizza delivery guy? Can the world survive?
Another 'director' working on new things is...well, me. That's right, after years of talking about it, I finally shot my first scene. No word yet who will pick it up, or when it may hit the shelves, but I'll keep you informed. (Yeah, I know you've all been waiting for this big event.)
Finally, a rumor too strange to be made up has made its way to my ears. Anyone ever wonder what ever happened to Guns N Roses? Well, apparently, three of the original band members will be contributing their talents to some upcoming adult projects.
