| I can't believe the year is half over already. As I start the July Pipeline, I do so with great joy in my heart. By the time most of you read this, Mrs. Rog and I will have ended our two year hunt for our first home and closed on said property. I know, this has nothing to do with porn or news, but I just had to share and take this opportunity to thank all of the friends and readers who have offered their support and advice during this long ordeal…I mean, experience. And now, on with the porn news.
As we mentioned last month, Amber is the first Survivor 2 cast member to get in front of the camera for a sexy pictorial. Though she didn't take it all off, the cute brunette did strike quite an appealing pose (or three) in Stuff magazine. After seeing her in her little bikini, I can see why they kept her on the island for so long. Following in her friend's bra straps, mega-bitch Jerry has dropped the biggest post-Survivor sex appeal bomb, announcing that she will grace the cover of the September issue of Playboy. Will she take it all off? Though the would be actress is being quite coy, smart money is on Jerry showing us exactly what she has going on 'down under.' Reality TV indeed.
Ending a highly successful four year run as a director for Diabolic, Vince Vouyer has taken his behind the camera skills over to the Elegant Angel team. After shooting more than forty titles for Diabolic, including such popular lines as "Nice Rack", "Initiations" and "Lewd Conduct" Vouyer hopes to bring some rain coater spark to ElA. Said Vouyer of the move" I'm excited to come to Elegant Angel because it gives me a little more control over what I'm doing, box covers, picking talent, which is a very good thing. I'm going to e doing what I've been doing with Diabolic, I'm going to bring the same quality I did over there to here. I know what sells, I know what people what to watch. I have been paying attention." Elegant is very happy to have the popular director on their roster and have handed him four series. He will rotate on a bi-monthly basis between an anal series (Natch), two group lines and one that will focus on internal cumshots. There is no word yet on whether Vince's all natural lines will be brought over to Elegant Angel.
Vince's arrival will help fill a void in the Elegant Angel directorial ranks created when Robert Madison left porn for some mainstream ventures. One of the top young directors in the business, Madison looked like he was ready to step up and help anchor the ElA squad, but now will work his brand of magic outside the porn world. Robert was always good to me and to my readers, so join me in wishing him well.
While official word of a replacement for Vince has not been announced by Diabolic, smart money is on Lexington Steele. His second volume of "Balls Deep" for Anabolic has been well received and he is likely to land several of Vince's high profile lines. Other possibilities include Marc Davis, Erik Everhard and the hardest working pervert in porn, Mike John. Actually, Alex Ladd would fit the bill quite well, especially since he shoots great Asian themed movies as well as European stuff.
Vivid seems to have a revolving door policy these days with their contract girls. Many have just fizzled from the start. In a move to correct this trend, Vivid signed Brianna Banks to a contract this month. If this reminds some porn fans of Wicked signing Alexa Rae, I wouldn't worry. I doubt Brianna is going to get as full of herself as Alexa did. Still, it's strange that Vivid would sign a woman who has been taking every dick in porn up her petite little ass for the last year. The last time they signed a beautiful butt slut like this, her name was Taylor Hayes. Hopefully, Vivid won't throw the wet blanket over Brianna and we can look forward to seeing her for a nice long time.
Speaking of Vivid, Jenna Jameson is back, or is she? She shot the latest Where the Boys Aren't for Vivid and is the subject of constant contract rumors. Mostly, Jenna has been out promoting her web site, even going back to the Stern show to stir up some fresh pub. It's never boring with Jenna and even if I'm still waiting for that topless interview she promised a year ago, we can hope her recent veggie only policy changes quickly.
Last month, Cherry Mirage celebrated her third anniversary in front of the camera. To help celebrate, she finally launched her long awaited web site. Everyone is invited to pop by and see what's up with the hottest little half pint in porn.
It's been over a year since the most popular girl in porn, Tera Patrick, has released a new movie. That makes last month's "Island Fever" the big release of the summer. Digital Playground released the move on VHS and their specialty, DVD and it should be on your shelves now. I have a review coming in a few days, but let me just say that it's nice to see Tera back doing what we love to watch her do.
As usual, there is plenty of stuff coming out of the Extreme Associates camp. Thomas Zupko has released his latest epic, "Shades of Hades" which is sure to make even the most hardened porn fan a bit squeamish. Determined to outdo Zupko, Lizzy Borden has a pair of movies set for release that are sure to attract plenty of attention. Cocktails 2 has some of porn's hottest women gulping down fluids that just weren't meant to be swallowed. If that's not enough to get you hackles in an uproar, her other movie, 'Forced Entry' pays homage to serial killer Richard Ramirez with a collection of rape and murder scenes. So much for porn mellowing out.
Before we close, I want to add this last minute rumor. A web site baring her name says that petite prick pleaser Tammi Ann has passed away. No one has confirmed this rumor, and the birth date on the site is nearly a decade off. More likely than not, this is just a bitter web master prank. Let's hope Tammi is all right.
Now it's time for the annual Rog's Top 20 List. Last year, the criteria was a big confusing. This year, I have a list of 20, then the honorable mention. Below that are three names of women who didn't do enough movies this year to qualify, but would be top 10 picks if they were more active. Below that is a list of new girls who are quickly on the rise and should make a run at rookie of the year. I hope that makes sense. Remember, this is just my personal list so feel free to write in and tell me who I missed.
