John Douglas Wow, it is so nice to finally get to have you for an interview.
Shyla Foxxx Well, we've been talking about doing this ever since we first met and it's been at the top of my list of "things to do". It is nice to see you guys again. How's things?
John Douglas At this moment, we couldn't be any better.
Shyla Foxxx Ahhh!
John Douglas So you remember meeting us for the first time?
Shyla Foxxx Actually, I do. It was at my first CES appearance and you guys came over to me to ask me if I was the girl that was going to do the gangbang.
John Douglas You were sitting next to
Jasmin St. Claire who is also a contract girl for
Metro Pictures and she had applications for her
gangbang in front of the area she was signing in, but she wasn't there at the time. So we thought you were...
Shyla Foxxx (Laughs) You thought I was the one going for the record! I probably went
Shyla Foxxx opens her eyes as wide as they can go) "Me??? 300 guys!!! No way!".
John Douglas Actually that is exactly what you did. But we should probably tell you now that we knew who Jasmin was and we knew that you weren't her, we were just making an excuse to come over and talk to you.
Shyla Foxxx What a great opening line! "Say are you the gangbang girl?". How funny is that!
John Douglas So tell us a little about your background. You've had quite a bit of a background as a dancer.
Shyla Foxxx Oh yeah, around six years.
John Douglas Any awards?
Shyla Foxxx In Canada I have won a lot. I have been to so many places and have entered all kinds of contests.
Shyla Foxxx I have won "Best Show" and "Best Tour" a few years back. I also won "Miss Honolulu's Best Wet Breasts Contest".
John Douglas Best Wet Breasts! What does that competition entail?
Shyla Foxxx On your ability to dance and entertain the crowd. And of course on how good you look wet. (Laughing) I got that one, hands down!
John Douglas How many years have you been in the adult film business?
Shyla Foxxx Over two years now.
John Douglas What was your first film?
Shyla Foxxx It was
"Gothic" that
John T. Bone directed for
Amazing Pictures.
John Douglas Cool name. What's it about?
Shyla Foxxx It's sort of a Victorian type romance. I worked with some really great guys in that film. Since it was my first film, it was hard for me. I was shocked at first. I had never been on a porno set before, and I was really nervous and excited at the same time. When I finally got down to my scene, I said to the director, "Are you sure all these guys are supposed to be touching me at the same time?" (Laughing) Everyone started laughing on the set, but I had freaked out a little because I was with four guys at one time!
John Douglas You did four guys at one time?!
Shyla Foxxx Yeah, in my first movie!
John Douglas Jeez, you just wanted to jump right in to the deep end, didn't you!
Shyla Foxxx (Laughing) Pretty much. Might as well!
John Douglas Which of your movies is your best movie?
Shyla Foxxx I haven't done my "best" movie yet. I'm getting there, but I know that I have got bigger and better things in me.
John Douglas You're setting us up with a great punch line, you know.
Shyla Foxxx (Laughs) I have to be careful around you two. You've got dirty minds.
John Douglas What have you not done, so far, that you want to do?
Shyla Foxxx Nothing!
John Douglas Nothing?
Shyla Foxxx Nope, I think I've pretty much done it all! (Shyla flashes a big, Cheshire cat smile.)
John Douglas Having a dance and film schedule as busy as yours, how do you find time for relationships (hint, hint), or do you?
Shyla Foxxx When I first started dancing, it was difficult. But now with the movies, I spend even more time on the road. I sort of cut that part of my life out. I really don't mind, since the dancing and films keeps me very busy and happy. I really like when I'm dancing and guys come up to me and ask me for an autograph or tell me about my films they like. I think that's pretty cool.
John Douglas So you've got hundreds of boyfriends all over the country!
Shyla Foxxx (Laughing) Exactly, and I just call them up when I come into town!
John Douglas You were telling us about some of the other projects that have kept you busy lately.
Shyla Foxxx Oh yes! My fan club. I am the type of person that has to be in control of things; I can't have anyone else do something for me because I just end up telling them step by step how I would do it, and in the end, it's just easier for me to do it myself. Which is why I run my own fan club. I love hearing from my fan club members, they're the greatest.
Shyla Foxxx ...Unfortunately I spend so much time writing to them, I haven't had as much time to work, as much as I'd like to.
John Douglas Sounds like you keep a pretty tight schedule.
Shyla Foxxx Well, yes. It's an adventure and I love every minute of it...
Shyla Foxxx I just wish there were a few more hours in the day so I could catch up on my sleep or answer more fan mail!!
John Douglas So what else is in the future for you?
Shyla Foxxx Lot's more Shyla Foxxx!

John Douglas So you plan on sticking around and doing this for a while then?
Shyla Foxxx Oh yeah, I love it!
John Douglas We look forward to seeing lots more of you; figuratively and literally.
Shyla Foxxx (Laughs) Well, alright. Is that it? Are we done?
John Douglas Sure. (With that, Shyla leaned over and gave us both a parting kiss and a hug. And that is why we do this job.)
