| Porsche has continued to be one of the most prolific actresses in the biz for over a decade now, continuing to do movies and going into new directions sexually.
Porsche met with us to do a marathon interview, the highlights of which we now present to you
John Douglas Outside of the clubs and industry funtions, how often do you get recognized in public?
Porsche Lynn Not that often. Some people look at me and say, "I have seen you before" and give me that look of recognition. A lot of times I think they just don't say if they know me. I get recognized in New York City constantly. I always hear "Porsche, Porsche, Porsche". But in L.A. I rarely hear it. A lot of times if they recognize me, they say it very quietly, like the other day I was shopping on Hollywood Blvd. at a magic store and a couple of guys came up to me saying, "How are you doing today, Ms. Lynn?". They very quietly acknowledged me. But here in L.A. you see stars all the time on the streets, so it's not a big deal. But when I go touring smaller cities like Cleaveland or Des Moines, Iowa, they might not know me but they know I am different and not from the area. That's for sure.
John Douglas Where did the name Porsche come from?
Porsche Lynn (Laughing) The back end of a car.
John Douglas It was one of those things where you were just looking around, looking for a name to use?
Porsche Lynn Actually, that is very close. I was driving to the set of the third movie I had ever done and I was thinking I hadn't actually come up with a stage name yet. The producers of the films kept telling me, "you have to come up with a name". So I was thinking I need a name that will stand out, one that will be internationally recognized. So I'm driving along behind a Porsche with the letters spelled out on the back end of the car. I'm thinking "Porsche", yeah, that would be a good name for a porno star. It's internationally known. It's a sports car, a really hot car. Yeah, that would be a good name. I added Lynn to it because it fit well, so I had a first name and a last name to it, so I wouldn't have to worry about being sued by the Porsche company.
John Douglas Has there ever been an issue with the Porsche company and your name?
Porsche Lynn No, there hasn't yet. Knock on wood. Do you have "wood" for me to knock on?
Porsche reaches over and mimics knocking on John's crotch.
John Douglas What was the best rumor you've heard about yourself.
Porsche Lynn The best rumor? Are there good rumors? I guess the best one that comes to mid is that me and (O.J. Simpson friend) Al Cowlings are dating, getting married, and having a baby. That I was probably there when O.J. allegedly killed Nicole. Truth is, I don't even know A.C. that well. I met him once or twice. We have mutual friends. So many people made so many assumptions over me and that one dance. (Porsche showed up in photos taken with Al dancing at a party that ended up in magazines)
John Douglas What about the rumors that start to get really personal? We remember reading once that you had witnessed one of your parents killing the other.
Porsche Lynn Oh! That is not a rumor. That is actually true.
We don't know what to say. We were actually expecting Porsche to deny the story.
Porsche Lynn When I was six years old, my father shot my mother, then shot himself. So I lost both my parents to domestic violence. I did speak out on this, because I felt it was important to reach out to other people who have been through what I had been through. Unfortunately, hundreds of children each year go through what I went through and it could have been prevented.
Porsche Lynn For the longest time, when I first came into the business, interviewers would ask me what my parents thought of me doing adult films. I always played it down, saying they had passed away. Finally, after a few years in the business, I decide to talk about the experience and let people know about me, understand me, and what makes me so strong as a person. I also reach out to others on what I had been through. Most interviewers don't know how to relay the message we sometimes tell others. Like if we, performers, go on a talk show and talk about our pasts...
John Douglas If someone came up to you and never saw one of your films, which one would you recommend to them?
Porsche Lynn My response would be to ask what kind of sex are they into. I have done so many different things. Some of my classic movies will always be "Miami Spice", "Night Trips", "The Kind", "The Girl With the Million Dollar Legs"
John Douglas That was one of my all time favorites.
Porsche Lynn I had my legs insured for a million dollars at one time. Not that many women have had that done. But at one time, I actually had my legs insured. Can you believe that? Sometimes I wish I would have collected on the money.
John Douglas Things get tough, cut off a leg, buy a peg leg with some of the half million dollar settlement. Would they pro-rate? Toes got to be worth a couple grand.
Porsche Lynn (Laughing) Yeah, well, buyer's remorse. Like I was saying; I must have done over 250 movies, a lot of all girl movies, a lot of fetish, B&D (bondage and discipline). So I have done a good variety of things. So there should be something out there for everyone. In the meantime, I am a dominatrix, so you can come see me anytime at my dungeon.
