Roger T. Pipe And you are the director of "Black Reign 2" and "Black Reign 3."
Domina X As well as "Girls Cum 2: Vanessa's Blue".
Roger T. Pipe Let's talk about your porn pedigree. You are a new director, but you are not new to the business.
Domina X I started out in adult in 96 and quit after a few scenes. I was away for almost three years before I came back at the end of 99. After a couple of years I decided that nobody was going to take me seriously as a director. Sean Michaels offered me the chance, publicized it AVN and then pulled it away to make a cowboy movie. I decided that the only person who would take me seriously was me so I moved to Las Vegas. After September 11th I realized that I couldn't strip any more so I picked up some books, taught myself how to build web sites, bought myself a digital camera, learned how to edit and started making movies. I taught myself how to shoot and everything fell into place.
Roger T. Pipe How did you end up at Mercenary?
Domina X I met this guy (Lex) at a gas station. We have been together for almost four years. It took me a while to put my stuff together. He suggested I take a shot at Video Team. They looked at my stuff, liked it, shook my hand and for some odd reason decided not to follow through. At that point Lex had just started so it took a while to get things going. Now that things are up running, it's time for me.
Roger T. Pipe Didn't anyone tell you that you are both the wrong gender and the wrong color to be behind the camera?
Domina X I think Christian Mann was the one who told me that. Perhaps not in those words.
Roger T. Pipe I was being facetious by the way in case that tone doesn't come across in print.
Domina X For Christian I think that I didn't swallow fast enough and I'm not being facetious.
Roger T. Pipe OK, good to know.
Domina X I didn't want to go around to a lot of different companies because I don't take no very well. I know that what I am bringing to the table is more than the average female. I can edit, I can shoot better than most videographers in the business and I say that with absolute confidence. I am good at what I do. I can put the girls together and it should have been a no-brainer with Video Team. Then I remembered that they were the same company that gave me a hard time about putting me on a box cover. They said I was too fat and print that raw. Christian Mann said "you are a little too big for our box covers." I bitched and whined a little bit more and finally he gave in. I was on "Sole Survivor" and even then was behind bushes because I'm just a little too fat for them. He shook my hand and we were supposed to have a done deal.
Roger T. Pipe Their loss is Mercenary's gain.
Domina X I think so. Lex let me bring my ideas to the table and I think that Black Reign 2 and 3 represent what I think sex should be as a performer. Most of the companies who hired me would never shoot scenes like this. Some of the directors would even turn off the camera if I got too aggressive with the guys. There was a scene I did with Evan Stone where I slapped him. That company never hired him again because they thought he was hurting me. Most of the time I have had to work with guys who are gross or didn't turn me on. I don't turn out good scenes with guys like. As a director I can put girls in better situations, the situations I wish I had been in, getting dressed up, working with clean guys, working with hot guys, putting a girl in a situation where she has some control. If she doesn't like a guy's foot on her head during a scene, it's not going to happen. A lot of the girls don't know that they can say no because they have no power. When I shoot, if a girl doesn't want to take a cumshot on the face, they don't have to take a cumshot on the face. If they are fucking the guy properly then there is no reason for a shot on the face. I think that my pussy is so great that there is no reason for a guy to want to pull out and shoot on my face. I want the girl to feel that way too. To me there is nothing hotter than a woman taking back her pussy. I don't want them to lie there like a pin cushion. I want to show a man my skill and I want to give a woman the opportunity to be the most important aspect of the scene and make it less about what the guy is going to do to her. Roger T. Pipe What type of feedback have you had from the female talent you've worked with?
Domina X Most girls are not used to doing what I do so we kind of brainwash them in the make-up chair. I show them a bit of my fem-dom stuff. Most of the girls I have shot have never shot anything like that. Every one of them has said that I brought out the best in them and they want copies of the movies. Unlike the other stuff where she has been dressed up like a schoolgirl or made to do something embarrassing.
Roger T. Pipe There is nothing wrong with schoolgirl uniforms though.
Domina X I have two younger sisters so the thought of younger girls at all is disgusting to me. It's just not right for me.
Roger T. Pipe But you take a woman like you, fully grown with all the right curves and put her in a cheerleader uniform, that's hot.
Domina X OK, cheerleader is one thing, but I am talking about the little schoolgirl thing. Two different things.
Roger T. Pipe Who do you think has blossomed the most under your directorial style?
Domina X I would say Jada Fire and Destiny DeVille in "Black Reign 4." I got more than I hoped for out of those two.
Roger T. Pipe Jada Fire if very good looking, but her scenes are not always high-energy.
Domina X You will not know who this chick is. She has got a ghetto mouth on her and knows how to rise to the occasion. She is the kind of woman who sees taking two dicks in her ass as a challenge. That is very rare for a black woman in the business. She was a blessing. When I have a girl show up who needs to see an example of an aggressive scene, I pop hers in to show them. Another girl who has done some stuff you won't see from anyone else is Kami Andrews. I shot her in some fem dom stuff for a movie called Domina X. Everybody only shoot her taking dick up the ass, but I shot her fucking a guy in the ass. She got to give back everything they have been giving her on the set. I know that the scene I have won't be touched by anyone in town.
Roger T. Pipe What sort of reaction have you had from the male talent?
Domina X The guys love it. I don't tell them what I've told the girls. I send her in there ready to tear it up.
Roger T. Pipe What guys do you like to use?
Domina X Of course Lex.
Roger T. Pipe Because it is good to have a guy with a small dick in your movies?
Domina X Yeah, exactly. He is small, but he gives good angles and tries to stay out of the way.
Roger T. Pipe He's no Julian St. Jox.
Domina X (She laughs and Lex nearly chokes on his chicken strips making Julian St. Jox faces.) I like using Zensa Raggi and a few others. There have been a few guys and before you ask, I won't name names, who haven't responded well. Some guys don't work well when the woman has any control at all.

Domina X You know there is a double standard. Julian St. Jox may be a little fruity, but at the end of the day he's a good looking guy. Maybe some of the girls are thinking they would like to fuck him in the ass. It's still hard for a guy who crosses that line.
Lex What about Matt Ramsey?
Domina X I don't think he's attractive at all.
Roger T. Pipe He was when you were five.
Domina X No. When I was watching my parents and grandparents porn do you know who I thought was attract active? Ron Jeremy.

Domina X From the foreign male talent yes. They have been very responsive to it. I think they are more comfortable with sex and they don't get to work with women of color. You put this dark black woman in front of him and tell her to just go after him. He has no idea she has been told that.
Roger T. Pipe Some of the men you like to use are white. We were talking earlier about the fact that this is the opposite from what is usually called interracial. What has the feedback been?
Domina X With the exception of one email, it has been great. It's always been great beginning with my web site. I was a fetish model before I ever got into porn. What I learned doing sessions, beating guys up was that it was never a black guy. It was always a white guy. There is this untapped market in porn. It is all about the black dick chasing little white girls. You forget that there is a whole group of white men who want to fuck black girls. When I'm dancing, it's for a white guy. Roger T. Pipe That's pretty good considering all the programming that they get from the meat factories. It's inside of most women to give it good and hard.
Domina X It is inside of every woman. Every girl who has had to work gonzo for more than six months has it in her. Every one of them has been mistreated. They have shown up expecting to work with one guy only to be given another. You show up and you hate the guy or he isn't clean or he beats you up and no one stops him. Why is it that I have been in the business since 1996 and have only had two scenes with a white girl? How does that work? When I request it I get told that the movie isn't 'interracial.' What do they want? Do they want me to do a good scene or do they want me to do this black on black thing for the tenth time. I ended up doing almost all of my scenes with Kitten not because I liked her, but because my other choices were garbage. They didn't care about a hot scene, fuck it, I didn't care either. What you end up with is product where girls are fucking on a mattress in a corner and no one cares.
Roger T. Pipe So you are just trying to shoot scene. If they happen to be interracial fine.
Domina X Yes. When I run across a brother who can handle having a woman talk this way to him or aggressively demand her sex we use him. Until that point I am going to use the guys who can do it.
Roger T. Pipe Is this something have thought about doing since you started in porn?
Domina X The scenes I shoot now are the scenes I wish I had been allowed to shoot.
Roger T. Pipe From the beginning?
Domina X From the very beginning.
Roger T. Pipe You mentioned that you edit. Do you edit your movies for Mercenary?
Domina X I edit my product for my web site. Black Reign is edited by the same guy who edits Lex's stuff.
Roger T. Pipe But if need be, you could do it all.
Domina X Yes I could.
Roger T. Pipe Do you still performer in front of the camera?
Domina X From time to time. I am very selective at this point. I have to feel it in the moment.
Roger T. Pipe About how many movies have you done in your career?
Domina X Maybe a hundred and fifty.
Roger T. Pipe And how many had the word ghetto or booty in the title?
Domina X (She laughs) Probably about a hundred.
Roger T. Pipe Were there any that you were really proud of?
Domina X Women of Color was good. I thought Sole Survivor was pretty good. Balls Deep 1 was pretty good, but that was more of a personal fuck than a performance.

Domina X I will be taking over the Super Whores line so I can do the Domina X thing with all women, not just women of color.
Roger T. Pipe That title kind of goes against what you were just saying about women taking power.
Domina X It's Lex's title so you will have to ask him about that. But if you are going to call me a whore I would rather be a super whore than just a regular old whore.
Roger T. Pipe Do you think that any of Lex's titles are borderline gay?
Domina X A lot of the titles are discussed beforehand so I don't think so.
Roger T. Pipe How do you choose the talent for your movies?
Domina X When I see a girl I like I invite her over to the house and shoot a solo scene for my line Girls Cum First. That is how I feel her out. If you can make a solo scene look good, then you should have no problem with other people. Unfortunately with the one bad scene I shot I didn't do that. She was a girl who should have had enough experience. I assumed she could do it and made an ass of myself.
Roger T. Pipe What catches your eye when you're looking for a girl?
Domina X Big tits. Big tits, curves and big tits.

Domina X I know I have shot a great scene when the guy thinks that the girl did all that just for him. They don't know that I have empowered them to do what they can. It's a shame that more directors don't want that because the men who have shot me end up with a scene that is as exciting as watching paint dry.
Roger T. Pipe I think you underestimate just how good you look when you're fucking.
Domina X But how many girls look good and don't know how to fuck?
Roger T. Pipe That is true, but most of them have contracts.

Roger T. Pipe Do you prefer to shoot newer talent or girls who have been around for a while?
Domina X I don't think there is a difference. Some girls have been around and are jaded to the point where they want to get the scene over with. Some girls are new and have raw energy.
Roger T. Pipe Did you ever have a director give you the chance to do what the women in your movies do?
Domina X No, never, not once. No one ever gave me the opportunity to do what I shoot.
Roger T. Pipe Perhaps you can change things.
