A sexy publicity stunt pulled by a Newcastle, Australia restaurant was going nowhere until a priggish Member of Parliament got into the act. Upon perusing a photo spoof in The Picture, a local magazine, which claimed the restaurant had adopted a new policy of hiring nude chefs to compliment its topless waitresses, MP Richard Face reportedly went on the war path. “(The article) contributes to the image of Newcastle as a sleazy city,” he told the Australian Associated Press. The once foundering publicity stunt took off like a rocket once MP Dick Face jumped on the bandwagon, and the citizens of Newcastle were no doubt left wondering once again whether a representative with a name like Dick Face might “contribute to the image of Newcastle as a sleazy city.”
