Reach Out and Touch Someone...
After Glendale, CO Mayor Joe Rice pushed through a law to restrict two local strip clubs in the town of 4,000 “low-income” people, voters didn’t get mad, they got even. The law raised the minimum age for dancers and required a six-foot buffer zone between dancers and patrons -which would prohibit the audience from stuffing tips into the dancers’ G-strings. Angry locals got behind a grass-roots campaign that swept pro-strip-club candidates into all three open seats in a recent city council election, stunning the mayor. One of the first items on the new council’s agenda: repeal of the new anti-strip club law, which has not get gone into effect.
