| Roger T. Pipe: We are back at the Elegant Angel booth, one year later, interviewing Daisy Chain. Bring us up to speed on what you've been doing for the last twelve months.
Daisy Chain: I was extensively working on a music project with Raylene and Ray Luna as well as people from outside of the business. That took up about ten months of my time. We were in the studio with Courtney Love and things were going really well.
Roger T. Pipe: What happened?
Daisy Chain: We just had some differences in the band and split up. It took a lot of my attention away from the adult business for much of the year and I'm getting back into it now.
Roger T. Pipe: Did you work at all in porn?
Daisy Chain: Yes, I did work some. I did some nice stuff actually. I got a nomination for a VCA movie I did.
Roger T. Pipe: What sort of nomination?
Daisy Chain: An AVN Award nomination for a girl/girl scene I did with Bionca. I'm really happy that it got nominated because I loved working with her.
Roger T. Pipe: You've been nominated for best girl/girl scene before.
Daisy Chain: Yes.
Roger T. Pipe: Did you win?
Daisy Chain: No, I was nominated for the scene in Buttwoman Vs. Slutwoman but we didn't win.
Roger T. Pipe: Let's get back to the music just a little bit. What do you play?
Daisy Chain: I play guitar and write music. I write lyrics as well, but I believe I'm better with the music than the lyrics. I have been playing electric and autistic guitar for about eight years. I love music.
Roger T. Pipe: Are you going to continue on with the music projects?
Daisy Chain: Oh yeah, for myself anyway. I play at home all the time. Hopefully one day, I'll get back out there.
Roger T. Pipe: Tell me the truth; you're just in it for the chicks right?
Daisy Chain: You found me out. That's why I play guitar, to pull chicks.
Roger T. Pipe: Are you doing the music as Daisy Chain or are you using a different stage name?
Daisy Chain: I'm using Daisy Chain. It just makes sense since I already have a little a bit of a following to keep it going.
Roger T. Pipe: What are some of the other movies you have done this past year?
Daisy Chain: I have done about three of the Violation of series. Those are always a lot of fun.
Roger T. Pipe: I just reviewed the one you did with Aurora Snow.
Daisy Chain: Right, that was so funny. They are always so fun to make. We have a great time and I get to work with some of my favorite people.
Roger T. Pipe: You had a list of girls you wanted to work with last year. Did any of those wishes come true this year?
Daisy Chain: I did get to work with Raylene before left Vivid. I was excited about that. It was for Robby D and we did a great scene.
Roger T. Pipe: What was it like working with Bionca?
Daisy Chain: It was beautiful. It was done last summer in a hammock. We did an outdoor shower scene. The natural sunlight was beautiful. Bionca and I have lot of similar life experiences. We've both lost and we're close in that way. We had had some really good talks and that intimacy just took over in the scene. I loved it.
Roger T. Pipe: How about some girls to add to the wish list this year?
Daisy Chain: I have had sex with her before, but my favorite is Cassidey so I'm going to put her on the wish list even though I've had her. Her beauty to me is exquisite. As far as new talent goes, it would take too long for me to list all of them. I would love to do another scene with Janine.
Roger T. Pipe: Maybe you can get her into a Violation of Janine movie.
Daisy Chain: Oh gosh, that would be an amazing violation.
Roger T. Pipe: Any others?
Daisy Chain: I love Haven from Jill Kelly Productions. Little Haven is such a hot little
Roger T. Pipe: You and I have something in common in regards to Haven.
Daisy Chain: We do?
Roger T. Pipe: Yes, I shot her first three scenes when she was just getting into the business.
Daisy Chain: And I directed and wrote the first movie she did a boy in, "Beautiful."
Roger T. Pipe: Her first boy other than her boyfriend.
Daisy Chain: And her first boy/girl for Jill Kelly.
Roger T. Pipe: Ahhh, I knew her when.
Daisy Chain: Yes, we can both say that and sigh.
Roger T. Pipe: She was just an eighteen year old girl with a pony tail and glasses buying porn from me.
Daisy Chain: Oh my God, that is so cute and now she's this huge star.
Roger T. Pipe: You do so many of the Violation movies, what about a Violation of Daisy Chain?
Daisy Chain: I can give the violation, but I don't know if I could handle being violated that way.
Roger T. Pipe: Do you have a favorite from that line?
Daisy Chain: I think my favorite was the Violation of Bridgette Kerkove. She is so wonderful to work with. The funniest part about it was that Jim had to keep telling her that she wasn't supposed to love it. She's screaming at us to get bigger toys and to do it harder.
Roger T. Pipe: All right, we've talked about girls long enough.
Daisy Chain: Here we go.
Roger T. Pipe: You have some big news don't you?
Daisy Chain: Yes, at the end of the month, I am going to shoot a scene for Patrick Collins with Mr. Marcus.
Roger T. Pipe: But last I checked, Mr. Marcus isn't a woman and Daisy Chain only does chicks.
Daisy Chain: This is true, but that is about to change.
Roger T. Pipe: Why Marcus?
Daisy Chain: Mr. Marcus is my favorite male performer and one of my favorite males period. We get along great.
Roger T. Pipe: You already did a still shoot with him, correct?
Daisy Chain: Yes, for Club magazine. That was like the prelude to this.
Roger T. Pipe: When was that?
Daisy Chain: It was the June or July issue.
Roger T. Pipe: What prompted this big decision?
Daisy Chain: Originally it was the band. We were getting press and I didn't want to be the dyke in the band. I figured I would do a few scenes to show people that I wasn't the Melissa Ethridge of the group. That's the honest truth. Also I wanted to get laid. Because of what I do for a living and my busy schedule, I'm not meeting new people. I really wanted to get laid by a man.
Roger T. Pipe: Was Marcus the first choice for this scene or was he the only choice?
Daisy Chain: Actually it was between Marcus and Mark Davis. I have had a thing for Mark since my first month in the business. I did a scene for Jill Kelly. It was three girls and Mark. I was just doing the girls, but at the end of the scene the girls were so happy. They were done so well, I decided I wanted some of that.
Roger T. Pipe: So if Marcus has a bout of insanity and says no, it will be Mark.
Daisy Chain: That's right.
Roger T. Pipe: Maybe the next scene will be both of them at once.
Daisy Chain: I don't know, maybe.
Roger T. Pipe: Once you hop on that boy/girl train, it's all over.
Daisy Chain: I'm in trouble.
Roger T. Pipe: You said Patrick is shooting this scene. You've worked for him before right?
Daisy Chain: Yes I have. I love his energy and he has music in his soul so I feel that we connect. To shoot for him brings out something extra for me. I want to do well for him like he's a daddy figure.
Roger T. Pipe: Patrick shoots girl/girl really well. You've also worked for women directors in all girl scenes. Would you say that female directors have an advantage of men in these scenes?
Daisy Chain: That's a good question. I have done scene for both and I actually; oh I don't want to say this. I have to say that I get a little bit more out of myself when I'm shooting for a man. I think that's the exhibitionist side of me. I love women, but my heart is with men so I get more turned on knowing that a man is watching. If a woman is watching, she's one of the girls.
Roger T. Pipe: You also directed "Beautiful" right?
Daisy Chain: Yes, I co-directed that with Jill and I wrote the script. I had a great group of people working on that set. The camera man, Jake was very helpful. We wrapped early every day, there was no drama on set, and the talent had their lines down. It went well, but I have never seen the movie.
Roger T. Pipe: Is that something you want to do again?
Daisy Chain: I have many ideas, so yes I would love to do it again. I have a number of fantasies and ideas I would like to see done.
Roger T. Pipe: Do you want to direct mostly feature type movies?
Daisy Chain: The ideas I have are more gonzo, but with a concept in mind.
Roger T. Pipe: Lots of people shoot just sex which is fine, but Patrick shoots set ups. Do you like that?
Daisy Chain: I do. I prefer the vignette type movies over large features. We have some talented actors and actresses, but we have some lousy ones as well. If you give them more than a paragraph, they won't know what to do. The viewer gets more stimulation out of something that shorter. We aren't trying to give you too much of a character or story.
Roger T. Pipe: Just enough to let us see sort of a short role play.
Daisy Chain: Exactly.
Roger T. Pipe: Do you have a web site?
Daisy Chain: I am working on one that should be out this year.
Roger T. Pipe: Is there a way for people to get in touch with you?
Daisy Chain: No, I'm a loser. I don't even have email.
Roger T. Pipe: Well then I guess we're done. Welcome to the boy/girl world.
Daisy Chain: I can't wait. I'm working up to a boy/girl/girl where I get to do both at the same time.
Roger T. Pipe: Let's say you could do a scene like that with any guy and any girl on earth, who would they be?
Daisy Chain: Anyone? Do they have to be in the business?
Roger T. Pipe: No.
Daisy Chain: The guy would be Eminem and the girl would be Liv Tyler. Those are my fantasy people.
Roger T. Pipe: Well if they are reading, we can make it happen.
Daisy Chain: Thank you.
Roger T. Pipe: Congratulations and we'll be looking for you and Marcus soon.
Daisy Chain: Thank you Roger.
