Starring: Gloria Leonard, Annette Haven, Leslie Bovee, CJ Lang, Constance Money, Susan McBain. Aside from Seka, these are the premiere actresses of classic pron. Gloria, Leslie, and Susan are given the bulk of the dialogue, and do a great job, they know how to act on film. However, the direction undercuts their sexiness. Too many closeups, not enough full body shots, to really show off the carnality of the actresses.

The production values are oustanding, when comapred with modern porn. There is actual location shooting, in a bar and at central park, and a penthouse somewhere in Manhattan. None of those cheesy sets or motel rooms of 90's porn. Henry Paris is considered one of the greats of 70's porn directors. He actually has an approach to film making, not just point and shoot.

Almost nil compared to the wall to wall stuff you see nowadays. There are long patches of dialogue and the sex scenes are shot with too many close-ups. Henri Pachard style of shooting and editing smothers whatever erotic buildup might happen. Much like the Dark Brothers films, the style overwhelms the sex.

The acting, directing, writing, Henry Pachard is utilizing a style similar to the french new wave movies. Annette Haven's scene is clearly the best of the entire movie, she is the greatest pornstress of all time. Even with Henri Pachard's bizarre approach to sex scenes, a very young Annette Haven still manages a great performance.

The two best actresses are given no dialogue. Annette and Constance are among the elite in acting ability in porn, but are completely silent in the movie. Even more amazing, Constance, who is featured prominentely on the box cover, is completely wasted in a handjob sequence, she should have done more in the film. Also, the film looks like it's building to a nice lesbian orgy after an S&M session, just ends abruptly. Pachard seems to be more intent of making a "movie", than exciting an audience.

This is one of the first pornos I'd ever seen, a long time ago. It hasn't aged well. Not for strokers, except for Annette's scene. It works basically as a museum piece, when the actresses seeme like real actresses who just couldn't find regular work, not just strippers trying to act. I'd give it a 5 for the filmmaking and the acting, but it could have been more if the sex scenes were longer and not too stylized.
